MRI scans for newborns are rare and present unique challenges due to the difficulty of achieving safe and stable positioning. To address the specialized needs of this procedure, the BabyFix Cocoon was developed in close collaboration with experts in neonatology, anesthesia, and pediatric radiology.
The BabyFix Cocoon ensures optimal conditions for safely and gently performing MRI scans on newborns, providing a secure environment within the MRI scanner.
The BabyFix Vacuum Pump (PA-611) is used to remove air from the Cocoon, enhancing immobilization for a more stable and controlled procedure.
