MR Conditional What does this mean?
MR Safe

MR Safe – an item that poses no known hazards in all MRI environments. Using the terminology, “MR Safe” items are non-conducting, non-metallic, and non-magnetic items such as a plastic Petri dish. An item may be determined to be MR Safe by providing a scientifically based rationale rather than test data.

MR Conditional

MR Conditional – an item that has been demonstrated to pose no known hazards in a specified MR environment with specified conditions of use. “Field” conditions that define the MR environment include static magnetic field strength, spatial gradient magnetic field, dB/dt (time rate of change of the magnetic field), radio frequency (RF) fields, and specific absorption rate (SAR). Additional conditions, including specific configurations of the item (e.g., the routing of leads used for a neurostimulation system), may be required.

MR Unsafe

MR Unsafe – An item that is known to pose hazards in all MRI environments. MR Unsafe items include magnetic items such as a pair of ferromagnetic scissors.

Designed specifically for MRI environments, our Low Center of Gravity MRI IV Poles provide exceptional stability, maneuverability, and ease of use. The weighted, low-profile base slides easily beneath imaging tables and surrounding equipment, allowing IV therapy to remain close to the patient while helping reduce the risk of tip-overs. Available in two base sizes with different load capacities, each model features a durable five-leg design with dual locking casters, four IV hooks, and adjustable height to accommodate a variety of clinical applications.

Features:

  • Low center of gravity, IV pole with weighted base for reduced tip-over risk
  • Easily fits under imaging tables and other room equipment
  • Four IV hooks provide ample capacity for multiple fluid bags and accessories
  • Five-leg base with smooth-rolling, dual locking casters
  • Durable construction designed for demanding clinical environments
  • MR Conditional to 3T

Overall Dimensions:

  • Adjustable height from 58" to 85"
  • Base Size:
    • OX-401: 24"
    • OX-402: 28"
