MR Safe What does this mean?

MR Safe – an item that poses no known hazards in all MRI environments. Using the terminology, “MR Safe” items are non-conducting, non-metallic, and non-magnetic items such as a plastic Petri dish. An item may be determined to be MR Safe by providing a scientifically based rationale rather than test data.

MR Conditional – an item that has been demonstrated to pose no known hazards in a specified MR environment with specified conditions of use. “Field” conditions that define the MR environment include static magnetic field strength, spatial gradient magnetic field, dB/dt (time rate of change of the magnetic field), radio frequency (RF) fields, and specific absorption rate (SAR). Additional conditions, including specific configurations of the item (e.g., the routing of leads used for a neurostimulation system), may be required.

MR Unsafe – An item that is known to pose hazards in all MRI environments. MR Unsafe items include magnetic items such as a pair of ferromagnetic scissors.

The pediatric nasal cannula with thread grip and a 7-foot supply tube is a vital tool for delivering reliable oxygen in various medical environments. Specifically designed for pediatric patients, this cannula provides a secure and comfortable fit with curved nasal prongs that minimize irritation. The integrated thread grip enhances stability, reducing the risk of dislodgment during use, while the flexible, 7-foot supply tube promotes increased mobility and flexibility throughout medical procedures. Its single-use, latex-free construction ensures safety and hygiene, making it a dependable choice for healthcare professionals.

Ideal for compatibility with advanced MRI equipment and related MRI products, this pediatric nasal cannula complements a wide range of medical applications. Thoughtfully engineered for durability, it ensures consistent oxygen flow, minimizing interruptions and providing crucial respiratory support for pediatric patients. Additional features include low-flow oxygen delivery for comfortable airflow, pliable tubing to reduce pressure on the cheeks and ears, and packaging of 25 pieces per case for clinical convenience.
